Next match of the 7th round of Superleague ended in Olympic Palace. One of the leaders of the championship – Dinamo Tbilisi defeated Tskhum-Apkhazeti with a 5-points difference – 88:83. The match was going on with an advantage of Dinamo. The team trained by Muhammed Tachi was winning throughout the game and eventually, they brought it to the end successfully.
Dinamo won the first quarter 25:13 and increased their advantage with one point for the big break. With the lead of Luka Bulashvili, Tyler Williams and Cedric Council, Tbilisians didn’t have problems in offense, at the expense of which they managed to advance by 13 points after the first half. Zviad Antadze’s team tied the game after the big break and reduced the difference to 4 points.
But Dinamo stood steal in a critical moment. Thanks to the good defense, they were able to maintain the leadership until the end. Antadze’s team couldn’t change the situation and lost its 3rd match in the current Superleague. Dinamo took the second place together with Batumi with 4 victories and 2 defeats.
Luka Bulashvili led the winners with 24 points and 8 assists. Cedric Council had 22 points and 12 rebounds. Tyler Williams scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Kwan Waller was the most effective and also the only player who scored more than 10 points in Tskhum-Apkhazeti, he collected 36 points.
Vera and Olimpi will meet in the final match of November 23.
