The current champion – Dinamo and Cactus played in the last match of the 20th round. Dinamo played convincingly and gained another victory – 76:62 so, that they didn’t give their opponents a chanse of success.
Dinamo started the championship very well and remained a leader until the new year. However, they had 6 defeats in 2018 and lost their position. But it seems, that the FIBA window affected positively on them. After a short break, Irakli Khoshtaria’s team played very well with Cactus and gained its 12th victory in this championship.
Dinamo was missing Mikheil Berishvili, who was injured while playing for the national team. In the absence of one of the leaders, Ilia Londaridze led the winners with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Raven Lee also scored 16 points. Turpin had double-double – 11 points and 15 rebounds. Deondre Ray was the most effective in Cactus – he scored 22 points.
The next matches of the Super League will be held on March 6, at the Tbilisi Olympic Palace.
