The leader of the basketball Superleague – TSU gained another victory. Leqso Lapanashvili’s team convincingly defeated Tskhum-Apkhazeti despite the tough beginning – 85:74 and strengthened the leadership of the current championship. Olimpi equalizes with TSU for now (both teams have two lost matches), but Olimpians have to play 2 more matches yet.
However, the match started with a convincing leadership of Tskhum-Apkhazeti. Zviad Antadze’s team advanced 13:2 in the beginning, they were winning 19:5 then. TSU couldn’t do anything against the fast attacks of Deonta Franklin, but later they managed to strengthen defense and tie the game.
TSU changed methods, they reduced the difference with the help of Giorgi Turdziladze and Giorgi Korsantia, they were helped by Luka Zaqradze and Christopher Anderson from the back line. Despite this, Tskhum-Apkhazeti retained leaders for the big break – 34:30, but TSU started the second half with a new breath, while Antadze’s team already seemed tired. Accordingly, TSU equalized the score in the middle of this quarter.
