One of the leaders of the Superleague – Kutaisi has won another match. The team trained by Kote Tughushi defeated MIA Academy – Titebi – 75:66. 2 minutes before the end, Titebi, trained by Lasha Gamkrelidze, were winning 66:65 and were close to victory, however, Kutaisians gained 10:0 in the remaining time and achieved a good result.
Kutaisians were winning most of the time. They won the first and the second quarters and advanced with 10 points – 41:31 before the big break. However, Ilia Londaridze’s activity turned out effective in the third period and Titebi managed to reduce the difference to minimum by winning the period – 23:14. Apart from that, they even managed to gain the leadership in the final period – 59:57.
Kutaisi stood face to face to the danger to loose, however they managed to tie the situation. As we have mentioned above, thanks to good defensive tactics and accurate attacks, Kutaisians won the decisive moments – 10:0 and achieved the victory eventually – 75:66.
Akaki Dvalishvili led the winners with 14 points and 10 rebounds. De Juan Wright collected 15 points and Davit Lomidze scored 12. Ilia Londaridze was the most effective with 22 points in Titebi, Kashim Ransom scored 15 points.
