As for today’s match, it was quite tense and emotional. In fact, Kutaisians won this meeting without a head coach – Kote Tughushi. In the second period, when Kutaisi players broke 17-point lead, Kote went to the court and protested the decision of the referee in one of the episodes. He claimed that Davit Lomidze, a member of his team, didn’t deserve a foul and the opponent simulated. Referees fouled Kote out of the game and Imeretian Club had to start everything over with 38:38.

Giorgi Barbaqadze led the winners with 24 points. Akaki Dvalishvili scored 20 points. Jonathan Lee had 13 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Malcolm Drumwright and Artem Shvets were the most effective players in Delta with 13-13 points each.
