10 November games ended with a tense and interesting match. Cactus and Olimpi played against each other in the third match of the first round of Super League. Despite the fact that Cactus was leading by 38 points (61:23) on the 23rd minute and had 21-points advantage in the final period, the fate of the match was decided at the last minute.
Olimpi players started to correct their mistakes in the final period. Additionally, Cactus regarded the match as won, suitably, Olimpi players managed to reduce the difference to minimum – 71:72. They have also achieved leadership by 4 points, which already meant victory. But, eventually, Archil Jghenti’s team have won by 4 points.
Antwan January led the winners with 27 points. He scored 6/7 three-pointers in the first half and he solid advantage that Cactus gained was due to his accuracy. Nickolas Neal collected 15 points. Giorgi Turdziladze had 14 points and 8 rebounds. Mark Ogden was the most effective in Olimpi with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Nika Darbaidze scored 12 points. Dareon and Charles Bennett ended up with 11-11 points.
