However, they retained on the first place, but they are just one point ahead now. Other leaders – Rustavi, Dinamo and Cactus won the matches and the situation in the standings became more tense. Kutaisi is on the first place with 19/28 victories. Dinamo, Rustavi and Cactus are on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
The match in Kutaisi turned out to be tense. The fate of the match was decided at the last minute when the Cactusians played more precisely and gained a glorious victory. Deandre Parks and Davit Lomidze played very productively at the last minutes. Lomidze’s three-pointer led the team to the victory. Bridgeman an Johnson were still missing from Cactus because of injuries.
Deandre Parks led the winners with 23 points and 5 assists.Davit Lomidze scored 20 points. John Mitchell had 12 points and 8 rebounds. Jonathan Lee was the most effective with 22 points in Kutaisi. Dejuan wright accumulated 7 points.
There was even more tense match in Batumi, where the adjarian team managed to win with minimum difference against Mgzavrebi – 75:74. The hosts were winning 70:63 two minutes before the end of the game, but the guests managed to eliminate the difference and even advance 74:73, 15 seconds before the final siren, thanks to the effective attack of Adrian Bowie.
Leonid Stefanyshyn scored the decisive points, which led the team to the victory 75:74. A successful series of Mgzavrebi ended up with this.
