Tbilisi Olimpic Palace hosted two matches of the Super League today. Delta, trained by Temur Kankia, won convincingly – 96:87 against one of the leaders – Olimpi, which had 7 of 11 victories in the current championship.
Olimpi was leading during the whole match, but the difference wasn’t big. In the decisive period, they had 9 points advance, but delta players managed to tie the game with the huge fighting ability and won the last period 31:17.
Tyler Alderman led the winners with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Artem Shvets also scored 22 points, Nicholas Neal accumulated 19 points and 8 assists. Mark Ogden was the most effective in Olimpi, he scored 29 points and 11 rebounds, Givi Baqradze had 12 points and 7 assists.
