The next round of the Super League, which started on Friday, ended today in Batumi. Batumi, coached by Gia Kazanjiani, hosted Archil Zhghenti’s Cactus and defeated with 9-points difference – 86:77 (Statistics). The fate of the meeting was decided at the last minute. Cactus put up a solid resistance to the opponent and if they showed more attitude in the decisive moment, they would have won.
Five minutes before the end of the match, Cactus advanced 72:69 with a three-pointer by Samajae Haynes-Jones. This is where the transformation took place, which was made by Batumi players with the help of the Serbian legionnaire, Nemanja Kapetanovic.
