Batumians were leading a little, but Cactus wasn’t giving up and there was just 2 points difference for the big break. Adjarians gained more advantage in the third period, at the expense of defense and fast attacks. They won this period by 10 points – 21:11 and advanced by 12 points before the final quarter.
Cactus lacked resources to save the game. The game-time has expired, so Batumi’s leadership has not been threatened. Eventually, it was a second victory in the current Superleague for Batumians. Levan Maskhulia led the winners with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Nikola Vujovic scored 18 points and 10 rebounds. Justin Everett was the most effective with 16 points and 10 rebounds in Cactus. Zoran Vilotijevic scored 13 points and 13 rebounds.
